On 13 March at 12.30, a press-conference ( interview for mass media) was held at the conference-hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia, which was devoted to the development of economical relationships between cities of Nizhny Novgorod and Yerevan. The event was held within the framework of opening ceremony of the project named “Business-mission of enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod region in the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan”.
The objective of the project was- assistance in the setting of direct Mutual-beneficial industrial and commercial partnership between enterprises of two regions.11 Russian industrial companies, distributers of medical equipment and medical supplies visited Yerevan in the composition of business –mission.
On the first day, after completion of the official opening ceremony and press conference, at the conference hall of the chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia a negotiation platform was held for enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod and Yerevan cities, within the framework of which, in an operational mode more than 40 bilateral meetings of enterprises of two cities were organised.
Also, on the first day, visits were organized to Ministry of Health of the RA, Yerevan City Council. Also a meeting was held with head doctors of Yerevan.
Within the framework of Business-Mission, visits were organized to business and commercial units and profile associations of Yerevan, business meetings were held to evaluate industrial and commercial opportunities and to discuss collaboration details.
